Background

In 2012, Samsung Engineering has won a US$2.47 billion project from the Abu Dhabi Oil Refining Company (TAKREER) to construct a carbon black and delayed coker (CBDC) plant.
The CBDC facility would produce 40,000 tons of carbon black per year.

  • Project Summary

    Samsung provided project management services for the engineering, procurement, construction, and
    commissioning processes, and after the contract in Oct, 2013 we supplied refractory engineering & design,
    materials and electrical dry-out services for six(6) sets of hard black reactors and air-preheater inlet boxes.
    Maximum operating temperature of hard black reactors can reach temporary for a short period 1950℃.

    Even after all of our services, from 2019 we continuously dispathed API936 Certified Supervision Services for
    waste heat boilers and turner rotate kilns.
