Calcium Silicate Board

Overview

Calcium Silicate Board is an asbestos-free insulation board manufactured by processing white powdery calcium silicate obtained by the reaction of calcium oxide and microsilica.

It is commonly used as a backup of refractory bricks and castable layers based on low bulk density and thermal conductivity, and various options are available from U-BRID products with reduced density and maximized thermal conductivity by utilizing infrared shielding technology, and Vermiculite-based products with improved density and compressive strength.
